Best of 2018 Film
I am thankful to all the beautiful people that have let me into their lives to photograph, I have truly been blessed and cherish each moment. 2018 has been a huge year and has brought many exciting adventures and weddings across New Zealand, Tasmania, Malaysia, Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia.
2018 has also reignited my love for film and the process it holds. My connection to film goes back to my early teen’s when I started to document the adventures I had rock climbing and mountaineering across Tasmania and New Zealand.
This blog has only my film work (no digital) from the last year, I found it so hard to choose the photos for this blog as each film photo for me has some much to it, its time, slowness and creative thinking to each click of the shutter.
2019 I am excited for as it will all be about being tangible! Getting your images onto print, on the walls of your home or in beautiful albums for your coffee table.
I would to say a special thanks to my love Zo + family for backing me while I travel, to my film friends for the openness to share and to Atkins Pro Lab for the encouragement and support.
Ps… Geek notes at the bottom.
I hope you really enjoyed these photos. Being a wedding photographer Sunshine Coast based, I have been so blessed to have my clients fly me all over the the place for me to photograph there elopement and wedding.
